Raw Chocolate Cashew Milk Recipe

Share |

This delicious, creamy nut milk provides all of the wonderful antioxidative properties of raw cacao nibs in a smooth and satisfying beverage. Pink Himalayan sea salt grants the drink 84 natural minerals, including calcium, potassium and iron; while, vanilla bean powder brings a complementing fruity flavor to the chocolately cacao nibs.

Serves: 2-3 people
Inactive time: 1 hour
Active time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup raw unsalted cashews (soaked 1 hour, the drained)*
3 cups water
5 tablespoons cacao nibs
4 tablespoons agave nectar
½ teaspoon vanilla powder
A pinch of Himalayan pink salt

*If using a high powered blender like Vitamix, there’s no need to soak cashews.

Preparation:
1. Add all ingredients to blender.
3. Blend on high speed until smooth.
3. Store in fridge and shake well before drinking.
