I cook from scratch daily, for myself and often for friends. In trying to expand my repertoire, I\\\'m always seeking new recipes that focus on fresh, locally sourced foods. Delicious AND healthy should always be the definition of fine dining.

What a fantastic idea...a seasonal cookbook based around local farmers market finds! I recently got back into healthy eating by making green smoothies. The biggest shift I have seen is that I crave fresher foods and am more inspired to cook healthy dinners, especially using more spices in balancing meals. This cookbook sounds like a jewel!

Three years ago I was surfing the web, an ad came up for My Spice Sage and I went exploring. Oh yes, what a wonderful project for the winter (which has continued for a much longer time). Now I just loved that web site and had more fun, spent much time reading and learning from MSS and finally started ordering and never quit. I have a spice cabinet you wouldn\\\'t believe, have purchased a My Spice Gift for my son who loves the spices he received, have shared my larger orders of spices with friends and family and never fail to tell them this wonderful place to purchase their spices. AND NOW, here is a cook book to continue to help me along with wonderful spiced meals. How great is that. Everyone, keep up the great work.

Hello, I appreciate a lot of the things Nathan stands for...natural living and local food. I was fortunate enough to meet Nathan at the Union Square Farmer\\\'s Market in NYC a few years ago when A Lyon in the Kitchen was on the air. I still do my shopping at the farmer\\\'s market and I would love it if he came back and sold autographed copies of his new cookbook but if not then I would love to win an autographed copy. Thank you for this opportunity!

My husband was diagnosed with high blood pressure and we both needed to lose weight so decided to start our weekly grocery shopping with our local farmers market. I was also a very bland cook using mainly salt and pepper until I discovered Spice Sage. I am happy to report that we have both lost weight and I am a much more inventive cook. Chef Nathans book would be a great addition to my quest to use fresh ingredients, utilize my local farmers and get more creative in my recipes. Thank you Spice Sage and Chef Nathan for making my meals exciting!

Jonathan Writes:
Mar 23,2012 12:00 AM
