Cayenne Bourbon Hamburger Recipe

Flavorful ground cayenne packs a powerful punch in this
spicy sauce. Paired with flavorful honey and bourbon, this tasty mix covers
easy grilled burgers and cheddar.
Mix the beef, egg and bread crumbs together with your hands.
Form into four patties. Set aside to bring up to room temperature. Heat your indoor or outdoor grill to medium-high heat, 400
degrees. Meanwhile, bring the tomato juice, pineapple juice, honey,
garlic, steak sauce, mustard, and cayenne to a slow simmer in a saucepan.
Slowly add the bourbon and stir to combine. Bring to a boil. Stir the cornstarch and water together to form a paste. Pour
into the sauce and stir. It will start to thicken quickly. Take off the heat
and cover while you finish the burgers. Grill the burgers for about 15 minutes, turning half-way
through cooking time. Let cooked meat rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spread the sauce on the buns, and top the burgers with
shredded cheddar. Makes 4 burgers.
