Flavorful ground cayenne packs a powerful punch in this
spicy sauce. Paired with flavorful honey and bourbon, this tasty mix covers
easy grilled burgers and cheddar.
1 lb. Ground
beef 1 egg 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs hamburger
buns, toasted shredded
cheddar 1cup tomato
juice 1 cup
pineapple juice 1/4 cup honey 1 clove
crushed garlic 1 Tablespoon
steak sauce 1 Tablespoon
Dijon mustard 1/2-1
teaspoon ground Cayenne Pepper 1/4 cup
bourbon 2 Tablespoons
cornstarch 2 Tablespoons
Mix the beef, egg and bread crumbs together with your hands.
Form into four patties. Set aside to bring up to room temperature.
Heat your indoor or outdoor grill to medium-high heat, 400
Meanwhile, bring the tomato juice, pineapple juice, honey,
garlic, steak sauce, mustard, and cayenne to a slow simmer in a saucepan.
Slowly add the bourbon and stir to combine. Bring to a boil.
Stir the cornstarch and water together to form a paste. Pour
into the sauce and stir. It will start to thicken quickly. Take off the heat
and cover while you finish the burgers.
Grill the burgers for about 15 minutes, turning half-way
through cooking time. Let cooked meat rest for 5 minutes before serving.
