Made at Christmas for 20 years, sometimes using blackstrap molasses.

Cinnamon Korintje Powder Grade A, Ginger Ground

2/3 cup Oil
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Ginger
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Soda
1/4 cup Dark Molasses
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 cups Flour

350 degrees ungreased cookie sheet. Roll small balls in granulated sugar and flatten onto a pan with bottom of a glass. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
