What better time to enjoy ice cream than in the summer?  It is great eaten alone but we, at MSS, love to escalate the wow factor for our friends and family by adding simple touches.  
 
One of our favorite ways to eat gelato or ice cream is with Double Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Sandwich the ice cream or gelato (our favorites are mint or mint-chocolate chip) between two cookies and you have a simple custom-designed version of a dessert favorite.  
 
Another great idea is waffles topped with ice cream for dessert.  You can make plain waffles or chocolate waffles with My Spice Sage’s Dutch Process Cocoa Powder.  For an added touch to this cool dessert, concoct some home made whipped cream by adding our Golden Vanilla Cane Sugar to heavy whipping cream and beat until stiff.
 
Ice cream always tastes great on top of fudgey brownies made from cocoa powder with a high cocoa butter content. You may also wish to try our Dutch Apple Pie recipe with some delicious, gourmet vanilla bean ice cream.  If you’re ambitious enough to make your own frozen- milky treat, we sell Vanilla Beans that will help complete a perfect base.
