Zach Bobker - Managing Partner
Zach went to New York University and started My Spice Sage during his junior year. He is motivated by the My Spice Sage customer, who creates delicious food along with happy memories for family and friends. He focuses on maintaining the growth of My Spice Sage, while continuing to execute what My Spice Sage has come to stand for.
Favorite Spice: Kampot Peppercorns - I would carry around a pepper grinder full of Kampot if it was socially acceptable.
Favorite Food: Sweet potato gnocchi in a sage-vegan butter sauce
Where You'll Find Me On Saturday Afternoon: Working, relaxing with my cats and girlfriend, or going for a walk along the Hudson River.
Evan Altneu - Managing Partner
Evan’s passion for the culinary arts led him to study at the Culinary Institute of America where he learned about cuisines and flavors from around the world. Evan then attended Pennsylvania State University, and upon graduation worked as a chef in several restaurants in New York City and Boston. Evan joined the My Spice Sage team in 2011 and can be found working in various positions in both our warehouse and office to ensure our customers are receiving the quality, value and selection they have come to expect from My Spice Sage.

Ken has an MBA degree in Finance from New York University. He manages all of the day to day operations of both our spice and nut businesses to make sure our customers receive first class products and service.

With over 25 years experience in the food industry, Sheila’s career has spanned the ranks from Customer Service to Office Manager to Wholesale Manager. She has been a part of this family business in some way, shape or form for 19 years. Sheila prides herself on building long standing relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service. Sheila has established an extensive network that she has maintained throughout her career.
My Favorite Spice: Applewood Smoked Sea Salt..I use it on everything! It’s great on the grill for steaks and chicken and really enhances the flavor of the food!

Where You’ll Find Me On Saturday Afternoon: A family person and sports enthusiast, you can find me on the weekends at the beach or soccer field, enjoying time with my loved ones.
Ashley Clarke - Customer Service/Purchasing
Ashley studied Secondary Education & History at Manhattan College. In school she loved history books - but now she loves cookbooks!! During her studies, Ashley learned to appreciate the special place spices have in our world, and our bellies!

Where You'll Find Me On Saturday Afternoon: If it's warm out, you will find me out on my boat bass fishing at Kensico Reservoir. When it's chilly, I enjoy relaxing at home with my boyfriend, Henry the parakeet, and my Chinchillas named Machu & Pichu.
Julie Ruggirello - Spice Buyer
Fueled by her insatiable appetite for all things delicious, Julie attended the French Culinary Institute and learned what goes into restaurant-quality dishes. The secret? High quality, fresh products. She uses this knowledge on a daily basis to source new products for My Spice Sage, and you!

Froilan Mendoza - CTO
Froilan manages the technology stack at My Spice Sage. Prior to My Spice Sage, he led various technology startups in NYC. Froilan has a Masters in Information Science from New York University and is an adjunct professor at Monroe College.
Favorite Spice: I just recently discovered Ceylon Cinnamon Powder as great substitute for tea!
Favorite Food: Filipino dishes, and anything cooked by the wife!
