Ingredients: Beet Powder

Taste and Aroma: Unique, earthy and sweet authentic beet flavor.

Uses: A great natural food coloring, baking, frosting, cakes, cookies, pasta, sauces and gravies.

Substitutes: Hibiscus Powder, Carrot Powder, Red Bell Pepper Powder, Spinach Powder and Annatto Powder.

Fun Fact: Beets were extremely popular back in the day, until Spinach was discovered.  However, Spinach does not provide the stunning and vibrant pinkish red color that only beets can provide.
