This is HOT. But it has great flavor. Use it in moderation. The heat goes away and I use this in BBQ sauce and in rubs. Again use this carefully and enjoy.

I never heard of this pepper until I found this site. Being a spicy food freak I had to try it. It delivers! WOW! All the hype is true. I love the flavor it adds to soups. I started off very slow to respect the pepper, and I'd recommend you do the same. Add a little at a time until you hit the heat level you want! I will be buying more!

I tried the ground bhut jolokia for the first time by ordering from this site, and I like it! Spicy, with a pleasant, different, fresh pungency in the center of the tongue, distinct from habanero or cayenne. The spiciness grows for about thirty seconds to a minute after a taste, then gradually subsides. The spice has flavor, not just heat, and the heat level is not too extreme if one is careful to sprinkle the spice very lightly. The flavor is a little bit smoky and a little bit citrus. I combine it with other hot pepper spices or sauces to add to the sensation. Be careful when pouring into a container or shaking: it can sting your nostrils and make you sneeze.

Why god why?! It tastes like burning. Hot wings of doom with a side of brim stone. Not enough blue cheese dressing to mellow the wings out. The heat made my face go numb after the burning. Kick up your chili volume to 11. Got someone who thinks they like really hot food? This is your ticket to prove them otherwise.

Good stuff!! Just received my spices yesterday, & am very pleased with my products. especially the bhutt jolokia spice. It went in my chile that I just happened to be making, & uuummmm what a great kick & taste it gave to the chile. I like heat, & this is the perfect addition for it. Please be careful with this spice, as it will get in your eyes & skin, & you will feel the wrath of the ghost pepper.( I make 2 types of chile,1 mild,& one for my chile head friends). I also received some jalapeno spice powder that i use to sprinkle on certain foods, to give that extra kick. thank you all for some great products !!!
