I have previously bought dried peppers from My Spice Sage and this purchase was just like the others, amazing. I love the product, I love the quality of the peppers. Packaging and quality could not be better. Highly recommend buying all of your spices here.
I have ordered a few things from this site and they are quick on shipping and have average shipping prices. The products have been top quality and met my expectations better than other sites I have ordered from (like ghost chilies where from another site a kid could eat they were so mild but here they scare me they are so hot ). My friend entered into a local chili contest and won hottest chili by putting 2 into it (and they were small ones) since others used hot sauce not chilies. If you want hot chilies get some of those, they are terrifyingly hot and make you feel like you put a hot coal in your mouth after trying one
I have ordered the 4 oz. bag twice now. Not because I have run out (4 oz. is more than I will use in a life time), one was a gift. These peppers are a great novelty item. Just a tiny sliver of one makes even the hottest food connoisseur gasp and choke for water. For cooking, I have found that pan frying half a diced pepper in olive oil, then removing the peppers adds a smoky hot heat. Delicious when a certain kick is desired.
I ordered a pack of these for my boyfriend, who loves everything hot and spicy. I warned him of how hot they are, so he decided to eat one by itself. At first he didn't feel much, but over the next minute it was scorching his mouth and stomach. For half an hour he kept drinking milk and water and eating bread, sweating, watering eyes, etc. Even after eating a meal he feels like throwing up from the pain. So yes, very hot!
I ordered some of these from another online site and they had gotten a bad batch (so mild a 6 year old ate a whole one and didn't say it was hot) which they refunded me for but still disappointing. These from this site on the other hand will light you on fire, feels like eating a red hot coal. If you get these be careful they are truly super hot and the real deal. They truly live up to the name ghost pepper/chili...
