Chili Threads

Also Known as: Chili Strings, Chile Threads or Korean Red Pepper

Origin: Korean

Ingredients: Chili Threads Dried

Taste and Aroma: Earthy, fresh, mild heat and smokey.

Uses: Primarily used as a garnish, but also adds a subtle zing!  Use on meat, fish, vegetables, kimchi, soups and pasta.

Substitutes: Saffron Spanish Superior Grade,Saffron Powder - Spanish Superior Grade, Crushed Red Pepper Flakes or Chipotle Pepper Granulated.

Fun Fact: Visually stunning Chili Threads are a more economical alternative to saffron to spruce up any dish, while adding a mild heat of about 20,000 scoville heat units.
