Instant Potato Flakes

Also Known as: Mashed Potato Flakes or Instant Mashed Potatoes

Origin: USA

Ingredients: Potatoes, mono and diglycerides, sodium acid pyrophosphate and citric acid.

Taste and Aroma: Earthy, creamy and authentic potato flavor.

Uses: For convenient and fast Instant Mashed Potatoes follow the following recipe: 1 1/2 cups water 2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 cups milk 2 cups potato flakes 1/2 tsp. salt Combine water, milk, salt and butter. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add potato flakes, stir and let stand 30 sec. to 1 min. until moisture is absorbed. Fluff with fork.

Substitutes: Potato Starch

Fun Fact: Simply add Paris Seasoning, Fancy Onion Salt or Herbs De Provence for Flavored Instant Mashed Potatoes!
