Madras Curry Powder 

Also Known as: Madras Curry 

Origin: India 

Ingredients: Coriander, Fenugreek, Cumin, Fennel, Allspice, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Ginger, Cloves, Turmeric and Garlic.

Taste and Aroma: Distinctive, warm, powerful, lemony and rich. 

Uses: Curry, chutney, sauces, gravy, chicken, lamb, vegetables, rice and stew. 

Substitutes: Rasam Powder, Maharajah Style Curry Powder, Curry Powder, Curry Powder Hot, Vindaloo Curry Spice, Tandoori Masala or Tikka Masala. 

Fun Fact: Madras Curry is named for the city it originated in Southern India, which has since been renamed to Chennai.
