Mesquite Liquid Smoke 

Also Known as:  Colgin Mesquite Liquid Smoke

Origin: Dallas, TX

Ingredients: Water, Natural Mesquite Smoke Flavor, Vinegar, Molasses, and Caramel Color. 

Taste and Aroma:  Smoky, delicious with a powerful mesquite kick. Use sparingly as Liquid Smoke is fully-loaded with flavor.  A little goes a long way! 

Uses:  Mesquite Liquid Smoke adds a great smoky flavor to anything grilled, barbecued, baked, sauteed or stir-fried. It enhances the flavors of burgers, steaks, chicken, wings, seafood, pork, corn, zucchini and eggplant. It’s great in soups, sauces, gravies, potato, egg and tuna salads. 

Substitutes: Mesquite Flour, Hickory Smoke, Hickory Smoked Salt or Bonfire Extra Smoked Sea Salt

Fun Fact:  In 1869, the first smokehouse was built in Mexia, Texas.
