Paneer Masala 

Also Known as: Paneer Butter Masala 

Origin: India 

Ingredients: Coriander, Red Chili, Onion Flakes, Salt, Green Cardamom, Black Pepper, Dry Ginger, Cassia, Turmeric, Cloves, Garlic Flakes, Nutmeg, Mace and Star Anise 

Taste and Aroma: Powerful, spicy and full flavored 

Uses: The seasoning base for the traditional Indian Dish called Paneer Masala.  Paneer Masala is an extremely rich recipe consisting of butter, cream tomatoes and sometimes yogurt.  Paneer Masala seasoning can also be experimented with: Stew, curries, gravy, sauce, bread and vegetables. 

Substitutes: Pav Bhaji Masala, Kofta Curry Masala, Tikka Masala or Rajma Masala.

Fun Fact: Paneer Butter Masala is a delicacy served in most restaurants in India.
