Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Homemade Chocolate Chip Granola Bars Recipe

Whip these homemade snacks together in less than 30 minutes (plus cooling time!) for your family. These are a great after-school snack or wrap them up to snack on at ball practice! Substitute anything you have on hand for the chocolate chips; raisins, nuts, dried fruit, lots of things will taste wonderful in this recipe.

  • Yield:12-14 bars

  • Level of Difficulty:Easy

  • Cook Time:25 Minutes

  • Prep Time:10 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons

    butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon

vanilla paste, can substitute vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup

honey (try chestnut honey for a change!)

  • 1/3 cup

    brown sugar

  • 1 cup

    flour

  • 4 1/2 cups

    “Quick 1-Minute Quaker Oats”

  • 2 cups

    chocolate chips

Directions

Pre-heat the oven to 325-degrees. Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl. Add the vanilla, honey, and brown sugar; stir to combine.

Add the flour and oats, combine thoroughly. Stir in the chocolate chips until incorporated. The mix will be crumbly and loose.

Grease a 10x15x1” baking sheet. Pour the mix on to the baking sheet, use a spatula to firmly press down the mix. Be sure to press every inch, don’t miss the edges.

Bake at 325-degrees for 20-22 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Remove the oven and immediately press down the bars again with your spatula. Be very firm, if you are too light they may fall apart after they cool.

Rinse your spatula or knife with cool water and slice in to bars while it is still warm but do not remove the bars yet. Place the pan on a cooling rack to cool.

Once the bars are completely cool, you may remove them from the pan. Store in an airtight container up to five days.
