Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Crock-Pot Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Fall is here and everyone is busy with school, work & activities! To ease families back into their routines, sometimes the best thing ever is to come home to dinner already cooked up in your slow cooker or Crock-Pot. Sloppy Joes are a definite kid-pleaser, and this easy recipe is a busy-cook-pleaser! You can see from the photos this is a small family recipe. A small amount of ingredients like this can burn in a large crock-pot. So instead, put the ingredients in a small crock that fits inside your crock-pot’s cooking area, then top as usual. Now that said, this recipe would feed a crowd very well, just double, triple or even quadruple the ingredients and add a few hours to the cook time.

Brown your ground beef, then drain and rinse off the extra grease. Place in your crock. Add the remaining ingredients, and then stir well to combine. Add the lid and cook on high for 6-8 hours, or low for 8-10 hours.

You can stir periodically, or leave it alone all day.

Serve on toasted hamburger buns. Top with mustard and sliced cheddar. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to four days. This recipe freezes very well too, for up to 4 months. You can easily double the recipe, serve half immediately and freeze the other half to serve later-a great idea for busy families.
