Origin: Vietnamese

Ingredients: Saigon Vietnamese Cinnamon Ground

Taste and Aroma: The most powerful cinnamon available; Saigon Cinnamon is spicy, sweet and warm.

Uses: Baking, cookies, tea, cakes, fruits, desserts, chocolate and pie.

Substitutes: Saigon Vietnamese Cinnamon Whole, Ceylon Cinnamon Powder, China Tung Hing Cassia Powder, China Tung Hing Cassia Whole, Cinnamon Korintje Grade A and Cinnamon Sugar

Fun Fact: Vietnamese Saigon Cinnamon has the highest oil content in the world, which is the reason it is also the most expensive variety of cinnamon.

The smell is fantastic, I did a taste test on my Cinnamon from the store and the Saigon Vietnamese Cinnamon no comparison. The Saigon Vietnamese Cinnamon taste like the hot Cinnamon candy.

Just received my spice order and I am totally sold on myspicesage.com. I've walked around the department and let the other ladies have a sniff of a small amount of the Saigon cinnamon that I spooned onto a piece of paper. They were "allowed" to taste it and all were totally wowed! It is everything you advertised and more!

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! I just received my first order. The Saigon cinnamon and the culinary grade lavender buds are stunningly fragent! The 8 Madagascar vanilla beans that were included with the order are heavenly and put the whole thing over the top! I used the cinnamon to make a loaf of cinnamon raison bread, the lavender buds to begin a batch of lavender sugar, and 2 of the vanilla beans to begin a bottle of homemade vanilla extract! The prices are absolutely unbeatable!!! Forget about ever buying those over priced, tiny bottles from the supermarket ever again! I will definitly be back to buy from these guys again and again!!!

I was having a difficult time finding a retailer that sold Saigon Cinnamon. The last retailer I purchased from was a bad experience, extremely expensive and low quality. I found this site and this was my first purchase, the price, quality, and method all have exceeded expectations. Great product, oatmeal is just not the same without it!

This was the first time that I ordered from Spice Sage. I purchased the Siagon Cinnamon and could not believe how amazing it was!
