Ingredients: Xanthan Gum

Taste and Aroma: Flavorless

Uses: Great gluten free substitute for gluten free baking. Thickener for smoothies, ice cream, sauces, salad dressings, bread, pasta, pancakes, cupcakes and cake. Also an emulsifier in sausage making.

Substitutes: Gum Arabic PowderClear Jel Instant, Tapioca Starch, Clear Jel Cook TypeSpelt FlourSoy Flour Defatted, Arrowroot Powder or Potato Starch

Fun Fact: Perhaps one of Xanthan's Gum coolest applications, among many, is its ability to prevent those annoying ice crystals from forming in ice cream.
