My Concern About Mahlab Seeds
I recently ground and used the Mahlab seeds in a Middle Eastern bread recipe. I was subsequently disappointed in the potency of the ground up seeds. It was hard to tell the presence of the Mahlab flour. I plan on using the seeds again (flour) in a larger serving recipe and will double or triple the amount of Mahlab called for by the recipe. Thanks.

Greek Baker
Needed mahle to add to my Easter breads and couldn't find it in my area without having to drive about 50 miles to purchase it. Got online and My Spice Sage came up. They had it listed for a very good price with free shipping. Got it in 2 days. Very happy with this company.

Mahleb Whole Spice
I was not totally satisfied with this spice. It did not have the aroma or flavor of the same spice I used in the passed. Are there different grades of this spice?
