Uses: Melted over popcorn, stir-fry and baking. The coconut oil's light and refreshing taste makes it suitable for both sweet and savory cooking. Because coconut oil is a solid at room temperature, it is the perfect fat for vegan baking. Coconut oil creates flaky pie dough and creamy icings.

Substitutes: Rafael Salgado Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Shredded Coconut, Coconut Flakes, Coconut Flour, Kona Joe Coconut Flavored Coffee.

Fun Fact: It takes 15 coconuts and several hours to make one liter (just over a quart) of our Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil; we follow the same general method that has been used for the past 1,000 years in India. The best part of this process? Nothing goes to waste; anything left over from making our coconut oil is used as animal feed.

This Coconut Oil Is Unequalled
I use this coconut oil for everything from cooking to skin lotion, scalp massage, and hair tonic. It is so fragrant and tasty, I could eat it with a spoon. Wonderful stuff.
