Wheat, King Tut's Wheat, Kamut Wheat and Kamut Berries
Taste and Aroma: Buttery, nutty and rich.
Uses: Boil 1 part grains in 3 parts water and simmer for 40 minutes or until water is
absorbed. Add cooked kernels to salads, soups, cereals, breads, pilafs and couscous. Eat cooked grains like oatmeal.
Substitutes:Spelt Flour, Teff Grain, Hemp Seeds or Quinoa
Fun Fact: The kernel is nearly three times larger than common wheat and is nicknamed Camels tooth because of its hump-back shape.
