The tartness of grapefruit combines with the sweetness of vanilla bean paste and the rich, buttery texture of avocado in this salad. This healthy dish is balanced with with veggies (lettuce), protein (avocado, almonds, extra virgin olive oil), and carbohydrates (grapefruit and sugar). In addition, grapefruit, as a known appetite suppressant, will keep you from chowing down on too much of your main course. Enjoy!
