Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Grilled Corn on the Cob

Sometimes it’s easy to get carried away with the main dish when you are grilling, only to come inside and realize you don’t have any side dishes to eat! Nip that problem in the bud by cooking your whole meal on the grill. It’s simple to cook corn on the cob on the grill, because they come with their own handy-dandy cooking protection-the husk!

  • Yield:4-5

  • Level of Difficulty:Easy

  • Cook Time:30 Minutes

  • Prep Time:30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 4-5

    fresh corn on the cobs

  • 3-4 tablespoons

    butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon

    Garlic Powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon

    Onion Powder

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Start by carefully peeling back the husk of the corn. Do not tear them all the way off, just bend them back to expose the corn (see photos). Rip out all of the corn silks, and then give it a good rinse.

Fold the husks back down and place in a water bath for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Keeping the husks damp helps insure the corn will stay moist, and the husks don’t burn too badly over the high heat.

Preheat your grill to 400-degrees. Place the corn husks on the grates. Close the lid and cook for 20-25 minutes until the corn is cooked.

Remove the corn from the grill and let them cool slightly. Cut off the husks and cover with butter, garlic powder, and onion powder. Serve immediately!
