Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Subtle

The flavor is more subtle than Cassia, but has a "barky" aftertaste. I make a fruit salad my mom used to call Waldorf (apples, bananas, raisins, mayo, oil (to thin the mayo), port wine, cinnamon.) I mix cassia and Ceylon cinnamon powder, which gives me plenty of cinnamon flavor, but is less aggressively cinnamon than straight cassia.

Earthy and satisfying

I really like the Ceylon Cinnamon Powder. It is definitely more flavorful than the cinnamon I buy from supermarkets. I use smaller amounts of this spice in my recipes to get a richer, more cinnamon like flavor.

Ceylon cinnamon

This cinnamon is the best flavored. So good in pumpkin pie and makes the best cinnamon rolls.

Healthier than "regular" cinnamon that you buy at the grocery store

If you search for "what is the healthiest cinnamon", you can quickly learn about the huge advantages of using Ceylon cinnamon powder. I've been using it for over 10 years and love it. The flavor is milder so you might want to use more than you usually do.

The Real Thing

Cinnamon sold in stores (McCormick, etc) is not the real thing. The real Cinnamon comes from Ceylon now. It was originally from Mexico. Real Cinnamon is a very healthful spice and should be consumed every day. I love cinnamon in so many ways, baked goods, sprinkled on most everything. Real Cinnamon has a milder flavor than the fake this passed off as cinnamon

Ceylon Cinnamon Powder

I love the freshness of all your products and Ceylon Cinnamon has a deep,
fresh taste. I would be very heartened to hear that all your products are
organic or if you could have a separate category for those that are. Thank you for this consideration. C.Wolf, NYC
