Turkish Pistachios Gold Series 1 LB. Bag

Although I don't feel that these are as good as I remember from my childhood, the Zenobia pistachios are still the best of the rest. Other brands and companies may be a little cheaper in price but they are not as good as these. I guess it is a " you get what you pay for" type of deal.
A little hint: If you eat the pistachios straight from the bag they don't have the taste you remember because there is very little salt if any.
Pour a little salt on a plate or bowl and after putting the nut in your mouth touch your tongue with your finger and just barely touch the salt and put the amount of salt in your mouth you want with the pistachio and the flavor you remember will probably come back.
Obviously your cardiologist might not recommend this but this is why they don't taste like you remember. The answer is SALT.
I'm surprised by how little salt this takes.

I'm sure technology has greatly improved harvesting and distribution efficiencies, but the taste of these Turkish notes is lacking from the taste of 20 years ago. Their costs are no longer worth as many consumers now feel...

Not good. Pistachios lacked flavor and didn’t have that distinct Turkish pistachio taste. I was disappointed.

Turkish Pistachios are the best I crave them. I’ll never go back to any other kind of Pistachios except for gold series. Love them more than you know.

Right on time

The nuts tasted very good. Possibly not as salty as some I have tried in the past. There were very few nuts that were not opened…this is usually a sign of good quality nuts. Shipping was very fast and price was excellent!

Love these, so much flavor they're addicting. Just wish they had more salt in them.
