Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Hello help!

I have been trying to order the 4 ounce bag of Ceylon cinnamon powder for a few months and you seem to always be out of stock when you have your 15% off sale! I could never use a larger amount than that 4 ounce bag. I am fine with paying the $16. Please let me know how I can go about this order.

Great tasting cinnamon. Bad packaging by Spice Sage

I LOVE the flavor of this Ceylon cinnamon.
I love because it is not as "sharp", "biting", as other cinnamons, especially the awful and old tasting product most sell.
I know some people prefer the sharper, more bite-y, cinnamon varieties, and that's why it is great that we are able to have those choices.

The bad.
If you have such huge packages, like a whole 10lb bag and 50lb bag, then open them up and make smaller 4oz, 8oz, and 16oz packages, so you can sell those to people like me who have no need for anything more than 1lb of cinnamon. What I buy is for me and my family, as I don't run a business that needs those massive quantities.

If your supplier's are packaging for you, Spice Sage, then you need to have a very serious discussion with them and let them know that when your stock is running low on the smaller amount packages, the suppliers need to up their game and send more of what you sell.
That way more customers will be happy and not have to call you out on this.
That problem happens on other products you sell as well, and that too has been going on for too long, and needs to be corrected.

Other than that, I do love the quality of your products.
And, I very much dislike the plastic bags, especially because they do NOT open and reclose well at all.
Too often I need to transfer the product into properly working plastic bags, or if I have them, into small glass jars.
You could, and need to do that same.

Thank you.

Terrible Inventory Maintenance

I have tried several times to buy the 16 oz Ceylon Cinnamon ground powder. I have tried when it was on sale, and I tried when it was full price. Today, I finally reached the breaking poiint when Spice Sage emailed me earlier today indicating that it was available to purchase. Three hours later, after my gym workout, it was no longer available. What type of stupid company carries only three hours of inventory for a highly desired product? Whoever controls spice inventories needs to be fired. And instead of holding excess inventory of the larger (largley un-sellable) bags, someone should figure out the herculean task of dividing them into the smaller 16 oz bags and make them available for sale. Truly a terrible repeated experience! 😝

Wouldn't be without Ceylon Cinnamon Powder in the spice drawer! My ancestors would have loved it, too, for all the Swedish recipes requiring that wonderful flavor and aroma.

Excellent quality fair price

We use both Saigon and Ceylon cinnamon. The latter is harder to find in groceries and not of the quality Spice Sage sells.

my research indicates it the healthiest of all cinnamons.....
