Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

Also Known As: Louisiana Seasoning or New Orleans Seasoning
Origin: Louisiana
Ingredients:Oregano, Thyme, Black Pepper, Ground Celery Seed, Red Pepper, Paprika, Salt, Onion and Garlic.
Taste and Aroma: Spicy, full flavored and powerful.
Uses: Creole cooking, oysters, gumbo, crab cakes, chicken, crawfish and jambalaya.
Substitutes: Cajun Seasoning, All Purpose Seasoning, Fried Chicken Seasoning or Blackening Seasoning
Fun Fact: Creole cooking is a mix of American, African, Caribbean, French and Mediterranean cuisines.

Great multi use spice

I keep of of the creole seasoning and use it in a lot of dishes that have a spice level to it, from soups to chili and bar-b-que sauce. If I want real heat I add other things like pepper flakes, as it isn’t overly hot just a great spice blend.

Fresh and tasty by itself or as a base seasoning.

Tasty and fresh seasoning. Better more expensive ingredients like
oregano, thyme, ect. not found in cheaper mainstream brands like Tony's or Ya Mama. Salt is not the main ingredient, way down the list. Mildly spicy.
Works great by itself or can be used as a base. When making lyonnaise taters I add onions and garlic anyway; add a bit of bay leaf and smoked paprika for more aroma to blacken seafood and hot peppers for heat. It actually made a nice blackened fish all by itself.
Tried it for giggles on something weird from across the pond: chicken liver pate. It's the only spice I used and the pate was the best I ever made- and I've been occasionally making pates for a long time. Go figure.
Will try other Sage seasonings next time.
