I was not sent the requested free juniper berries, but, instead, the free sample was powdered turmeric. I needed the latter, though, so no harm, no foul.

I recently purchased a My Spice Sage gift card for a friend, but I was unclear that the free sample would not be sent to me, but would be a choice for my friend. When asked to give a review, I said I couldn't as I never received the free sample I chose.
Those amazing folks at My Spice Sage clarified why I had not received my free sample, and then....mailed one out to me!
I love this company! They have the most amazing selection of quality spices I have ever seen. Their shipping is awesome (free plus very fast). And when my friend had difficulty using the gift e-card I sent her, I spoke with Pat in Customer Service & she had the problem solved very quickly. She was kind & helpful.
