Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

summer savory

i grew up, with my mother always using "bohnenkraut" when ever she cooked a soup with beans. so i got into the habit as well and wouldn't miss it.
when i received the order i was very pleased with the quality and could only recommend the company "my spice sage"

Great Summer Savory

I don't know why but this herb is getting harder and harder to find. If I do find it, it is extremely expensive. Imagine how happy I was to find it on this website! I ordered 4 oz. for $10.45, which was a bargain, plus it included a free sample (that I chose) and free shipping. What's better than that? The savory was fresh, very aromatic and enclosed in a nice plastic pouch I could reseal. I will never buy spices at the store again! I am so glad to have found your website!

Getting rarer by the day

I use Summer Savory in a lot of my recipes and I am having a hard time finding it. I am glad I found it on your website at a reasonable price. Yours is a wonderful example of what Summer Savory should be. It was great in my turkey dressing!

Underrated Herb for cooking, soups, and stews

The earthy, sweet-yet-pungent scent/flavor is awesome! Don't get crazy with it; it works as a Gentle "accent." I love to use it with Chicken, Beef, Pork, and Fish: soups, stews, roasts, oven baked. I saw it in a Potato Salad recipe, but I haven't tried that one.
--Keep it simple: Crock Pot or stove-top, chicken or beef, (I like using corresponding Broth,) onion, garlic, a couple Large pinches of Savory, often some diced tomato (acid to tenderize the meat,) whatever other veggies, a little salt and pepper... maybe some Marjoram (bit more pungent, but very nice.)

Spice of life

First time ordering , was curious as to freshness compared to store bought spices. Let me tell you there is no comparison. The spices came in, and I immediately open the packets to sample. The fresh aromas were beyond what I had expected. I make my own Herb de Provance, and with my new, fresh herbs, it is entirely different than store b ought. So, yes, I am extremely satisfied with quality of my spices.
