Origin: Japan
Ingredients: Chili Peppers, Sesame Seeds, Dehydrated Orange, Poppy Seeds, Ginger and Seaweed
Taste and Aroma: Mildly hot, with notes of citrus and pepper.
Uses: Schichimi Togarashi is a Japanese table spice added to almost everything, including marinades, grilled meat (especially pork), soup and noodle dishes. It pairs particularly well with fatty foods like unagi and tempura.
