Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Also Known As: Masala Tikka, Tikka Masala Spice Mix or Tikka Masala Spices
Ingredients: Chili, Paprika, Coriander, Ginger, Black Salt, Cumin, Black Pepper, Taj, Cloves, Cardamom Ground, Fennel, Turmeric, Salt and Taj Patta.
Taste and Aroma: Rich, hot, peppery, complex and powerful.
Uses: Tikka Masala Spices are the foundation of the authentic and extremely popular Chicken Tikka Masala Dish, consisting of roasted chicken in a rich and creamy curry sauce.
Substitutes: Garam Masala, Baharat Spice and Curry Powder Hot.

OVERPOWERING!

I was so looking forward to making chicken tika masala at home ( not going 46 miles and paying $70 from the closest Indian restaurant ) but I was very disappointed in the tika blend, I know every Indian cook uses their own blend of spices, so I knew it may not be exactly the same. But this was beyond disappointing. There was one spice ( and I cannot put my finger on which one) that was totally overpowering it was terrible. I tried toning it down with more cream but that resulted in toning down the other favors also. The overall effect was a bland taste with one spice still being overpowering. It was not uneatable, but it was not tika masala in any form that my family has had before. We were all disappointed to put it mildly. I guess I will have to go back to buying the "jarred" tika.. Or make the trek to the Indian restaurant.
